"I'll Find You" Hitting Canadian Radio May 25th!!!

Hey, hey, hey! Well guess what??? May 25th .. less than 2 weeks away. I'll be releasing my new single "I'll Find You" to Canadian Country Radio. How exciting is that!?! So once it comes out, harass your local stations! If you end up getting a restraining order against ya.. harsh... little extreme.. haha.. but thanks for your all your support and dedication haha.. :) .. I am so looking forward to what the Summer has to bring, should be a ton of fun! Keep smiling!

Hey guys! Well first recording trip is complete!! This whole experience has been one that I'll never forget. We've created awesome music (which I can't wait to share!!), and I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to work with! Thank you to JR, Wade, Big Tractor, Chip, AJ, the engineer guys, all the musicians, Tania and Wes, and all the writers!! You guys were such a pleasure to work with, and I am so lucky to have worked with such a talented group! I've had a ton of fun!! Also thanks to everyone at the Candlewood! You all know who you are! :) My Uncles company while I was at sessions all day. THANKS EVERYONE!! .. So now I'm at home, sipping on some Hot Chocolate.. its kinda cold and foggy outside.. It was nice to finally sleep in my own bed, its almost like your bed missed you and is extra comfy for you the first night you get back hahaha.. Glad to be home with family, and I'm very greatful to have had such a fun and productive time in Nashville!! Can't wait for y'all to hear my music!!!!! Take care and talk to you soon!!!

Down in Music City!

Hey everyone! So I've been down here in Nashville TN, for a little over 2 weeks now.. Writing sessions went great! It made it extremely hard to pick the songs for this project... But we narrowed it down.. and they are sounding awesome!! Last Thursday, the band recorded.. OMG, Amazing!! Those guys are extremely talented! And they are a great bunch of guys, really nice and hilarious! Everyone I'm working with, has a good sense of humor.. Which is perfect! Cuz those of you that know me, know I love to laugh and make a funny haha.. .. Friday and Saturday, I started recording final vocals.. then tomorrow I finish vocals.. and Background Vocals go on... This whole thing is just so exciting! I can't wait for you all to hear it! Its gonna rock!!!

Anyways its my day off, so I'm going to do some laundry! :) TTYL!!!

Hey You! I'm still alive!

Okie doke.. So its been a long time since I've blogged or even been in contact with y'all.. So heres the update! No I didn't fall off the face of the Earth haha.. I've just been keeping things on the DL (down low if ya don't know what DL is haha) Over the past couple years I've really been working on developing myself as an artist, working on my guitar playing and also song writing. Which has been quite the journey for me so far.. I am absolutley loving the freedom of expession, having a creative outlet in creating my own music. A few months ago I went down to Music City, Nashville Tennessee! I was there penning my upcoming songs with some AMAZING songwriters... I'm working with the likes of Wade Kirby (I Saw God Today-George Strait) and Kim Tribble (On a Mission -Trick Pony), Monty Criswell (I Saw God Today- George Strait), Brady Seals, Jenn Schott, Lila McCann.. and so many more! I'm so lucky and blessed to be invovled with these folks! My next trip down is coming up in about a week and a half.. and it'll be for a little bit of writing and RECORDING the songs we wrote!! Yay! I really can't wait to share everything with you guys... Let you all in on the Mystery they call Aimee Pettersen haha.. No, theres really no mystery to me.. I like to keep it simple..
